I have installed Symantec Management Platform, then IT Analytics with SEP Package. Started configuring and installed Cubes, but when I started to install Reports, I get this error:

Exception: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: The operation you are attempting requires a secure connection (HTTPS). ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.SecureConnectionRequiredException: The operation you are attempting requires a secure connection (HTTPS). at Microsoft.ReportingServices.WebServer.ReportingService2005Impl.CreateReport(String Report, String Parent, Boolean Overwrite, Byte[] Definition, Property[] Properties, Warning[]& Warnings) at Microsoft.ReportingServices.WebServer.ReportingService2005.CreateReport(String Report, String Parent, Boolean Overwrite, Byte[] Definition, Property[] Properties, Warning[]& Warnings)

Couldn't find anything on internet to solve this issue and tryed many workaround to avoid it, but it still persists

How can I install the reports?

Is SQL and SQL Reportings services on box or off? Is SMP configured for secure communication (https)?

SQL and SQL Reportings servers are on the same server. HTTPS binding is enabled for SMP

How is SQL reporting services configured? Since you didn't put the version of SMP, I'm assuming 7.1, and SQL is 2008.

SQL is 2008 R2 and hosting SMP CMDB and Analytics DB, along to Anlysis and Reporting services. SMP is the latest. everything is the latest.

Check the Web Service URL and Report Manager URL. They should both mimic your SMP setup, so make sure they are setup to use the same ports and configuration (HTTPS) as SMP.

It was solved by creating a separate website for reporting and assign SSL for that site and configure ITAnalytics to use that website fore reporting.
