I'm working on EV9.0.1.1073 on W2k8.

When I'm adding Exchange target, on the system mailbox selection page, after pressing "browse.." and the select mailbox dialog pop-up. But then the program freezed and not responding.

Any suggestion?

Hi,   I have same situation

Hi,

I have same situation at one of my customers.

EV 9.0.1  (on virtual VMware Windows server 2008R2)

2x EXCH2007

(in total about 2000 mailboxes ...)

Trying to select a system mailbox while creating a mailnbox archiving task

Building up the mailbox list takes over 3 hours (!!!).

It seems that EV is polling the AD for building up de mailbox list with an interval of 10 seconds between the mailboxes (seen via packet sniffer)

After that the EV system works fine as expected.

Customer support cannot help here (I already openend a cas for this)

Can this be VMware or AD related?

Thanks,

Rudy

I have the same issue at a customer's site before christmas and it turned out to be related to the type of nic defined in the VM.

We changed the nic in both the EV VM and GC VM to VM3net and it fixed all our issues.

Hope this helps

Mark

Interesting.

Can you let us know what the previous setting was?

I had this at a customer also (only 450 mailboxes).

Thank you, Gertjan
