ITA connection ports required for SEP 11 SQL database

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Please advise what are the standard ITA connection ports required for SEP 11 SQL database access.  ITA server is behind the firewall and the SEP SQL server is on the corp network.

It connects to the SQL DB so you would need to verify with the DB admin on which port SQL uses

The SEP 11 manager connects to the off box SEP SQL database on port 1433.  However when we attemp to access create a connection with the SEP sql database from ITA server we see traffic attempts from ports 445 and 1434.

TCP port 1433 and UDP port 1434 need to be opened and listening both ways from SEPM Server to Remote SQL and from Remote SQL to SEPM Server in order for the SEPM to communicate with the SQL database.

TCP port 445 is used for direct TCP/IP MS Networking access without the need for a NetBIOS layer.
