    Hello,

    I have installed Patch Management Solution on ITMS 7.5.

    Currently on the endpoint it appears that the the Software Update Plug-in picks up the Windows Update installation time (3am by default).

    Is there any way to schedual the installation of the patches?

    you can set schedule patch installation, using "Default Software Update Plug-in Policy"

    Or you can clone the Default Software Plug-In Policy to create different schedules to assign different filters of computers to patch at different times/dates.

    This what I do...

    test group policy - Filter for our test group (15 machines) 

    pilot proudction policy - filter for a pilot production group (45 machines)

    Default Policy - you will notice you cannot target machines because this will be the catch all for where machines do not exist in other policies so very important to NOT DISABLE.....

     

    the way im doing it is I can have 3 different deployment dates and it is working well.. thought of doing an article on how i have it set as it took me some time to streamline the process which works well...
