Hi, i'm trying to do a report that will list only software products listed in Add/Remove Programs (XP), (Programs and Features in Win7) and show that by each of our managed computers.

is there a way to do that under 'New Report' / 'Computer Report' and add the proper fields to get this?  If so, what fields would I add?

Or a SQL Query that I could run directly from the db?

I am using SMP 7.1 sp2.  I understand there used to be an out of box report such as this in Altiris 6 but it is gone from 7.1?

Any assistance would be fantastic!

I had also been looking for this and might have one somewhere I can dig up. Have you looked at IT Analytics? I know that there is a report there in 7.5 and believe there was one in 7.1 (someone else should be able to confirm that). If I find my non-ITA report I'll post back.

And this report might actually work for you as well: 

Reports > All Reports, then expand Reports > Discovery and Inventory > Inventory > Cross-Platform > Software/Applications > Software > Installed Software by Computer

There's a default report for this:

Go to Reports > All Reports, then expand Reports > Discovery and Inventory > Inventory > Cross-Platform > Software/Applications > Software > Installed Software by Computer

Well ! There are few Hidden Reports are available
Go to Reports > All Reports,

Top right Corner you have a search box just type "programs" and click on the magnifier glass to search.

You will find few hidden reports

1.  Count of Distinct Add or Remove Program Applications
2.  Add or Remove Programs Search report
3.  Execution Summary
4.  Execution Status
   

The ARP report has been intentionally hidden due to the decision to deprecate the ARP scan sometime in the future as it was providing inconsistent data.

The recommended report to use is the Installed Software one.
