    I have Symantec Endpoint 12.1.4100.1456

In my Application And Control Policy there was a defauft Application Control to block Browser Helper Objects. I truned it on but it blocks adobe and Java.

Does anyone have a exemption line I can put in to allow these applications?

What's showing in the Control log? You will need to add the necessary process to do not apply depending on what is exactly being blocked.

    Thank You for replying Brian.

I did not think to look in the Control log, so I did and found what entries were being put in.

The weird thing I was told my Blocking of Browser Objects blocked Java and Adobe. Both had entries when I installed them on a clean computer but Adobe was not put in the registry like the log file indicated.

However from the log file I can see what needs to be added as a exception in my Application and Control Policy now thanks to your response.

I've decided till further testing,  not to enable a Browser Object Blocking Policy due to the fact Java has to be present for Student Testing and I'm afraid that each version of Java will have a different entry line and I can't keep up with adding the path in my exceptions list, getting the policy out to all student computers, without having Student Testing blocked due to Java.
