Java console issue post upgrade

Hi All,
we have recently upgraded netbackup version from 6.0 to 6.5.4 .. everything worked perfectly until we found that java console was not functioning properly.. 6.5 java console was opening .. we were able to see activity monitor.. media . but once we clicked on robot it hang for long time.. we also tried to open 6.5.4 java console which did not open at all..we also made change in FORCE_IPADDR_LOOKUP=0 restarted netbackup services but status was still the same.. has any once come across similar situation?

Did you remeber to upgrade
Did you remeber to upgrade the java as well?
I don't have to know how to spell....I work on Unix.

Yes we did upgrade java as well.. it was not as if java console was not opening at all.. we were unable to browse through devices and robots ..it hanged for quite a long time.. we were able to see policies,activity monitor and rest of the things
