Java & Netbackup Admin Console issue....

Hi Forum,

Trying to access Media Management section ...Volume Pool...etc from Netbackup 6.0 Java and Netbackup Admin Console but when clicked it just goes on and on but nothing comes up....what exactly can be fixed to resolve this.

Hi,

 

One of the common reasons could be a stale media server entry or Master server not being able to reach one of the media servers.

 

How many media servers do you have?

Have you decommissioned any media server recently?

 

Run the following command on media server and paste the output:

 

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbemmcmd -listhosts -verbose

Please also let us know if NBU and Java have been patched - unpatched 6.0 was simply BAD NEWS...
