Job Manager

This issue has been solved. See solution.

After upgrading from to all of my schedules jobs failed with error 819 - unable to communicate with JM Proxy. I restarted  the job manager. I can maually start them but am concerned if they will run on schedule.

How long has it been since you upgraded?

Nothing will work until the upgrade has actually completed which may be some time.

Run the following:

nbemmcmd -listsettings -brief -machinename <masterservername>

Look for SLP_DSSU_MIGRATION_STATE. If it is =1 it means phase 1 is complete. If its 0 then phase 1 is still running.

When phase 1 is complete run : bpimage -cleanup –allclients

monitor it in activity monitor and when complete run the nbemmcmd again but look for LIST_FS_IMAGE_HEADERS. If this is 0 phase 2 is complete, If this is 1 phase 2 is not complete. When 0 continue with media server upgrades / re-enable everything etc.

Until LIST_FS_IMAGE_HEADERS is 0 nothing will work

attached is the result of nbemmcmd. It seems that the conditions mention have been satisfied
