Hi All,

We are using the SAP on Oracle agent to backup SAP on Windows Host.
One file is getting skipped regularly. i.e. \\servername.domain.com\E:\oracle\ECP\102\database\hc_sid.dat

Anyone observed this situation?

Exact Error :
Backup- \\servername.domain.com\E:
The item \\servername.domain.com\E:\oracle\ECP\102\database\hc_sid.dat in use - skipped.

Thanks,

Use Advanced Open File option to backup files that are open or in use. In backup job properties, select "Use Advanced Open File Option" to get this backup working.

Please mark it a solution, if this is useful.
Thanks

Since when does Symantec recommend using AOFO against database files?

Hi All,

We have tested both Options, i.e. with AOFO and without AOFO.
No single option is working.

Any alternate solution?

Thanks
