Jobs Keep Failing & Setting Media to End Marker Unreadable
Lately some of my jobs, though not always the same ones will fail with the error code E00083ED then set the media to 'End Marker Unreadable'. Why this is happening I'm really not sure, but even after putting in a new series of tapes the problem continues. If anyone has some ideas on what's going on please reply.

have you tried running a few passes of the manfacturer's diagnostics against the drive?
