Jobs stuck on queue status

I have a server backup jobs that remain permanently with queue status. The  server is windows 2008 R2 and I am backingup files. I've been searching the forum but the "job activity" tab just show queue status and action none.

How I can get more details of the reason why it can not continue?

Check for any alerts that need responding to.  

Also, are you backing up to disk or tape?

THere is no alerts nor errors. I created jobs to backup to disk, tape and virtual tape but it is the same

Run Live Update in Backup Exec till all of the Live Updates are installed and then repush the agent out to all of your remote servers.

also check windows events for application or system errors.

Has the server been rebooted recently?

The backed up server was restarted a week ago. There´s no errors on the BE server. Shoud I check the event viewer on the backed up server? I'll update the BE server

Yes, check for errors on the backed up server and verify the remote agent on the backed up server is the same as Backup Exec on the media server.
