Does anyone here already encountered the Jollibee virus? Its a Filipino made virus, where you can see a flying bee on your screen and says Jollibee is Happy.. it was originated from Zamboanga as I remember.. if we encounter this virus how can we resolve this kind of issue instead of manual deleting it?

The kind of threat of this virus is ar first you will notice before you can log to your PC a dialog box that welcomes you, its Jollibee that greets you at first where he also here that it originates in Surigao (not Zamboanga, sorry for that) and his proud to be a Filipino. Then after you log your account You can Jollibee flying through your desktop and smiling. You will lose your connection through the network, no Task Manager, no gpedit, no regedit, no folder options(for hidden files to show), no Run, you can't change your desktop settings, it also disabled your antivirus and your firewall protections, it disabled also you windows updates.

When was this infecting in the Philippines? was it detected outside the country?
Since this is not a common threat... that is why it is not yet included in our SEPM threat list..
But just in case we do encounter it... Does Symantec has ways to resolve this?
What if we cant get a sample? Do you have a sample that could be submitted to Symantec?
    thanks...
