  • 1.  Just received 10 "Database is down" alerts from SEPM console

    Good morning,  we just received a slew of these messages all at once.  The ENG team went in and the database appears to be fine and we can connect to the SEPM console without issue.  Any idea what could cause this?  First time we have seen this.  Thanks,

    Is it possible the DB went down but came back up? Is this SQL or embedded DB?

    If all is ok now you can probably ignore it.

    can you check the event viewer of SEPM and SQL ? to see if it indeed went down or a false positive..

    The SEPM console needed a reboot this morning and these DB alerts fired off at around the same time.  Looks like the activity was tied together.  It is a separate SQL DB.
