I was trying to implement this into my setup and was unable to find the " d. Copy the contents of the VBscript attached to this KB into the window."
anyone know where i could find this script ?

come on, no symantec employee knows where this is at ?
I don't have the script, but it looks like you are trying to install the SMP Agent manually?
I am using DS 6.9 and have an install job with the command line:
\\altiris-server\NSCap\bin\Win32\X86\NS Client Package\AeXNSC.exe
and the command line switches:
-s -a ns=altiris-sever.mydomain.org nsweb=http://altiris-server.mydomain.org/altiris /ADDREMOVE /reinstall /s
It works fine for us. You can put in a batch file or VBScript as needed.
