KB2749655 : Is this really needed?

I don't know if this update was widely discussed abroad, but I was wondering to see if someone is really planning to push it along with the patches for this month. Haven't seen it under my Symantec Console so far. Just curious to see what other techies think about this!

Symantec need to add this update to patch management asap. Their response so far is that this is an "unrequired bandage", but MS are saying otherwise.

Could you please clarify what version of Patch Management Solution you are using?
If 7.1 SP1a or later, KB2749655 is actually included to Patch Data starting from version 7.1.361 (bulletin MS12-A09).

I'm using 6.0.6074 (SP 3 + R13) and also don't see the update.

Hi All,
Support for KB2749655 available with patch data 6.2 and 7.0 in scheduled Nov-12 patch Tuesday build release.
Once new version of PMImport will be available we will mention the PMImport version accordingly.
