  • 1.  Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

    Hello Everybody,

    I am getting the Kernel Panic error while deploying Windows image on HP DL 580 G7 server and I am using Linux PXE for the installation.

    Can you please suggest as what can be done to resolve this issue...

    Hello Mark,

    I am using Altiris Deployement Solution Verison 6.9 and while OS install JOB.. I am getting the Kernel Panic issue..

    Hi shant201,

    I guess you mean to say you are getting the kernal panic after booting the system that has window image installed, right?

    Can you also mention which was the OS on HP DL 580 G7 server  prior to windows image you installed?
