  • 1.  Kernel versions supported

    If I look at http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH101598 it states that

    Ubuntu 3.2.0-24-generic Ubuntu12.04 Server (EM64T/AMD64)

    is supported. Does that mean that later versions are not supported? If so, do I need to wait until a new version is released?

    If not on the list, it's not supported but you can still manually compile your own kernel. See here:

    Hi, Your logic is correct. SEP 12.1 RU5 is due for release in next month. I believe It will definitely have updated kernel supported list. Let me know if you are looking for any specific info I can try to find that info.

    New version 12.1 ru5 is release in English Version which support the version as your requirement

    Hi,

    I was aware but was waiting for SEP 12.1 RU5 release, related KB's are now updated.

    Mention kernel version is now supported.

    AJ_01 has already attach the updated article as well.
