    which version are you looking for?

    current version is SEP 12.1 RU 1 MP1, why not think of upgrading to this version?

    Hello, since we have upgrade to SEPM 12.1 RU1 MP1, when a new risk is detected, we receive multiple eMail notification (every 10 minutes) instead of one.

    Symantec tell us to wait 12.1 RU2.

    Our company deceide to upgrade SEP 11 to Sep 12.

    So we have anylize all good and bad factor and give the report respected IT person.

    After we will upgrade Latest version

    you can refer the release notes of SEP, which is definetly a first go as this notes helps what all defects have been fixed in earlier version.

    SEP 12 is a 2 version old, personally i think you should update the management for latest version to be used.

    Hello Akshit,

    As mentioned by Pete, you can always refer to the release notes of the latst version which will show the fixes to the issue that were there in the previous version.

    Eg: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH187656

    This is the release notes for 12.1 RU1 MP1, which is the latest version, and this will show you the know issues for the previous version.

    However these would be the major fixes, there could be many other know issues which would not be listd in the same.

    Hi Akshit,

    We do recommend to all the customer to use latest SEP version i.e. SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1

    Upgrade path would be SEP 11.x --> SEP 12.1 RU1 --> SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1

    Actually need to upgrade to RU1 first, then from RU1 to RU1 MP1, to follow proper supported upgrade path.

    Out of SEP 12.1 known issues almost all of them are fixed in 12.1 RU1 MP1.

    I have send all Know Issue on SEP 12.1 on my Manager, and provide all new feature information SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1
