  • 1.  Laptop appears in unmanaged computers even though SEP is installed.

    Any reason why the above Laptop keeps appearing in the unmanaged computers console, it even says endpoint is installed on it, went to the Laptop and its updating and working fine. Any ideas as to why this is happening and if I can stop it appearing in the list?

    Laptop is Windows XP Pro SP3

    SEP is 11.0.2020.56 MR2

    Hi,

    What does the client reads when you click on the SEP GUI à Help and Support à Troubleshootingà Server? Is the actual server listed, have to tried to copy the sylink.xml file from the group on this client?
     
    Follow the steps in the URL to convert from unamanged client to managed client!
     
    Also you are using the old version of SEP!!

    Latest SEP version is 11.0.4014.26

    Did you install the client as a standalone or managed client? Did you install it manually or pushed from console?
