Laptop - Recovery

I have used Altiris Recovery Agent to backup my laptop to an external hard drive. Recently my laptop was stolen. I have a replacement laptop and have reinstalled the Altiris Recovery Agent software (6.2). How can I view the image on the hard drive and recover some files? I am not interested in rolling back the entire image just retrieving some specific files. I have connected the harddrive to other PCs and it will not recognize my old partition. Starting up the software wants to create a new partition.

I have yet to find a solution to my problem. Nothing seems to provide the option to recover. My new laptop wants to start from scratch and begin with a new patition on the backup drive. I am still trying to find a solution.

Hi guys,
I don't use the RS Local recovery pro (only the server-based version) so not sure how to accomplish this. I have flagged this thread for "Escalate to Support" so hopefully someone in RS support can take a look and provide some guidance (several months later).
