     As per the customer, he downloaded and installed updates for the OS and after the reboot the
     laptop goes into the circle with a slash through it and will not boot. The
     MAC has PGP software on it and he needs to know if he reformats the drive will
     he get prompted for the PGP password?

    There are issues with PGP & Mac 10.7 - are you sure it hasnt upgraded to 10.7.x ?
