Large time gaps between individual server backups, on one backup job
I have just started implemending vmdk grt backups to disk, and on the first go off this over a weekend the backup was taking approx 90 hrs, looking further into this ive noticed that there are large gaps from when a server has been backed up to when the next one starts upto 8 hrs in some cases, so out fo the 42 hrs it took to back up, it was actually backing up for only 24 of those hours. The actual backup starts at midnight
| Server | Start Date | Start Time | End Time |
| Server1 | 03/11/2012 | 00:46:08 | 00:58:41 |
| Server2 | 03/11/2012 | 01:50:09 | 01:59:03 |
| Server3 | 04/12/2012 | 08:19:36 | 09:52:28 |
| Server4 | 04/11/2012 | 14:20:36 | 23:32:37 |
| Server5 | 05/11/2012 | 02:05:51 | 02:08:26 |
| Server6 | 05/11/2012 | 09:28;58 | 09:41:05 |
| Server7 | 05/11/2012 | 12:03:07 | 12:33:10 |
| Server8 | 05/11/2012 | 16:16:27 | 16:33:13 |
| Server9 | 05/11/2012 | 17:54:19 | 18:56:26 |
I have no problem with the verifiying of these servers as it starts a couple of seconds after the previous server has been verified.
Im using Backup Exec 2010 r3 and on Server 2008 rs std. Both are fully upto date with updates.
Just seeing and wondedring if anyone else has come accross this and what could be causing it.
