    hello

    what is size uf updates send from SEPM to clients every day? how to prevent this? (site bandwidth 256Kbps. max 10 clients)

    how can be notified for large updates before receiving and staritn send to users? is there any plan or updae scedule for large updates.

    A: the size will depend on how many updates revisions are kept on the SEPM - according to that SEPM will provide clients either with full updates (over 250Mb) or delta definitions (Kb size)

     

    - how can be notified for large updates before receiving and staritn send to users? is there any plan or updae scedule for large updates.

    A: no options here for that, an Update is an update - no distinction on that fact from SEPM according to size. Please note you cannot set any schedule for SEPM updates to clients as well - they will take updates according to heartbeat (PULL mode) or as soon as available (PUSH mode)

    Recommendations:

    - implement GUP to the environment -> GUP will provide clients with defs instead of SEPM; GUP will take updates from SEPM only - you can as well limit the speed for this download

    You can reduce the signature from definition with help of "LiveUpdateContent" option which is included in LiveUpdate policy.

    Agree with Sebastianz. Update size is depend on the last revision available on SEPM and clients..

    There is no any option which can popup before sending the large package to clients.

    For the remote branches, GUP is a solution for implementation.
