Ghost Solution Suite

I have a Lenovo t420 that I need to image using a ghostcast server (ghost suite 2.5).  I'm looking for some network drivers...

Have you looked at lenovo web page?  If you know what NIC it has then you can go to the Intel or Broadcom web page to get the drivers also.

  You will need the windows vista drivers for the windows pe that ghost uses.   If you need assistance with adding drivers seach the forums here on how to add drivers to win pe.

There does not appear to be a Vista supported driver for the wired Ethernet NIC on this model; only XP and Win 7 seem to be supported.  I would suggest trying the 32 bit driver anyway and see how you get on.

It looks like the machine uses Intel 82579LM NIC.Its already present under the default template but not selected by default.Select the same and recreate the boot package.If it doesnt work try the latest drivers.

Download "Prowin32.exe" and etract the drivers  with Winzip or command line prowin32.exe /s /e /f C:\foldername

Point to "Pro1000" folder while adding drivers to WINPE .

If the above does not work , it is because the NIC requires OEM version of drivers which is not available under Lenovo website (I mean the vista version).Visit the link mentioned below ,

Download Intel 825xx and add it to boot wizard after pointing to vistax-86 folder .
