Oracle just released a patch to fix a critical issue in Java 7. We have the flawed version of Java on our SEP 12 SEPM server. Is it OK to apply the Oracle patch to the server, or will it impact the SEPM?

Java 7 is not supported with SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1. However in the further releases of SEP, it may be supported.

I agree. Java 7 is supported in the SEP 12.1 RU2 which is currently under Beta.
