Hello,

Latest LUA  2.3.5.99 and older downloads 19 GB daily and distributes this to sites. Is this normal? Here is product list. Entries marked red was unchecked and download size dropped from 24.6 GB to 19.1 GB but is still very big. How to fix this?

thanks for response. Are you sure 19 GB daily is normal? I understand 19 GB could be initial download but not daily incremental updates. According to the documents you attached daily download should vary between 1.5 GB to 7.5 GB.

It's also from 2012 and def sizes have continued to grow pretty large over the last few years. It seems really big to me as well though.

it sounds very strange, can you try to recreate the download center ?

Can someone who uses LUA and similar product list say what is correct daily download size? Please tell me daily correct size for May 2016 - not old data from year 2012 which can differ a lot today.

19 GB can be normal in my experience when  the LUA has to reload all its content. AFAIK that happens every 30 days. Perhaps that was the case in your environment. On other days 19 GB seem too high.

We also noticed in our LUA environment that the daily download are now huge !!

In April the downloads was around 5GB per day plus one hub around 10GB but since we are now around 10GB every day ? The definitions really doubled size in 2 month ? (We only download Manager Contents Updates)

It's really hard if not totally impossible to find the actual size of each def on Symantec site/forum to understand if we have a configuration issues if it's a normal behavior etc.

It's hard to go back to clients saying only look this is normal behavior def are growing every day etc without having real facts from Symantec to based this arguments.
