This issue has been solved. See solution.

There are so many version of documents about SEP product compatibilities and so many posts on this site. most of them are dated year ago. I would like to have the most up to date information on latest SEP product compatibilities.

The latest version of SEP is 11 MR4 MP2 (aka 11.0.4202.75) as of today. Does it support applicaiton and device control on x64 XP client, Windows 2003 servers? does Symantec have a latest compatibility list?

Thanks

It is Supported

Yes Application and Device control is supported on Server operating system 2k/2k3/2k8

Some reference for PTP and Application and Device Control

Proactive Threat Protection status shows "OFF" in the client interface
On Server Operating Systems the Proactive Threat Protection only supports Commercial Application List scanning or "CAL". This is why the status shows as "OFF" in the client interface. This is by design.

Application and Device Control Policies do not work on 64-bit client computers.
