Does this mean we can expect an update to version 11 in the immediate future as well?  I only ask because we are getting ready to migrate SEP to a new server.

This usually happens with the users carrying the Symantec Protection Suite.

In case you do not see the Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 RU3 version on Symantec Flexnetoperations (earlier Symantec Fileconnect), you may see the same in coming few days.

However, incase you need it very urgently, you may contact the  Symantec Licensing Department.

They can help you with a Temporary License Number.

No. Not in Immediate Future.

As of now there is no Official Release Date for SEP 11.0. RU7 MP4.

However, I would suggest you to go ahead with your plans of moving SEP to a new server.

On a Kind note: I would suggest you to Migrate the SEP 11.x to SEP 12.1.

FYI: It's Friday, 6/7/13, where 12.1 RU3 has yet to show up on my FileConnect view.  Tried both my current and future serial number (renewed maintenance) and only 12.1.2 is listed.  And, yes, we are a Symantec Protection Suite customer.

Contact support. They'll give you a temp serial to use.

Also remember: if all that is needed is the SEP client, a client-only upgrade patch is available here:

Download that .zip and extract the upgrade patch needed.  Apply that to any SEP 12.1 clients which need to be brought up to RU3 to fix a crucial issue.

yes, supported upgrade path.

I got the temp serial and downloaded. The documentation included in disk 1 seems to be for RU2. Versions.txt shows 12.1.3001.165

Not sure if this is the place to post this.  Has anyone had a problem with Security Risk exclusions?  I'm trying to add the pagefile exclusion for Terminal Services and it says that it is not a valid file.

You probably should create a separate post for this so it gets maximum visiblity.

I assume you're trying to add pagefile.sys?

What version of SEP is this for?

I'm on RU2 and did not have a problem adding. Just don't forget to select a scan to exclude this from first otherwise it will complain about not selecting a scan type. Other than that, it works for me.

Is it  decision that the security hole CVE-2012-4953 will remain forever in SEP 11.0 ?

Well, there is no update required my contract this year. ( I can't update to 12.1 from reason out of support.  )

Not sure what you mean, as the first link you provided says:

11/28/2012 - Updated Decomposer engine for SEP 11.0 and 12.0 SBE released via Symantec LiveUpdate.

This is expected. The documentation--and by that I mean the Installation and Administration Guide, Getting Started Guide, and Client Guide--is not updated for every new release. For anything that has been changed, corrected or added, you can find those updates within the Release Notes.
