    Hi,

I'm running smtp security 5.01, and for the anti-spam, set up all spam messages to go to quarantine. i setup ldap authentication and synchronization with our Windows 2003 AD, and everything test out correctly, the LDAP syncs occur just fine.  There are 2 things that are not occurring properly:

    1.  Users are not receiving the quaratine email from the control center notifying them about their spam emails in quarantine.
    2.  Users are not able to login to:  https://spamserver:41443/brightmail.  I get the following message: "Access for your account has not been configured.  Please contact your administrator for assistance."

Now, I assume 1 and 2 are related, however, I don't know what could be wrong if my ldap configuration looks like it's working.  Even if the users were not receiving the notification email, they should be able to logon to view their quarantined messages and be authenticated, but it is not happening.

    Thanks,
    troy

Have you unchecked the 'Administrator Only(quarantine)' checkbox?  This would need to be done before end users can log in, or notifications to be sent.

I can't remember where this is in SMS for SMTP 5, is there a quarantine settings screen...

    Cheers,
