  • 1.  Ldap Sync with Active Directoy 2008

    I'm trying to set up Brightmail to sync with Microsoft AD Win Srv 2K8 but it does not connect to server.

    I tried ports 389 and 3264 but none worked.

    In Administrator Credentials I've tried - administrator name and password only and also cn=admin,cn=users,dc=domain,dc=com

    I don't know what is the correct form to config Admin Credentials for Windows 2008.

    Anyone can help ?

    From what I understand, we should look at it similar to 2003. However, I don't believe we have fully certified 2K8 to work.

    One question, did you typo the second port? It should be 3268 if you are attempting to use global catalog.
    You may also want to verify that the user you are using has full domain admin credentials.

    Did you test with any command line tools?
