LDAP sync not happening

Hi Group,
I'm trying to setup sync with an Exchange 5.5, when I run the tests at the bottom it shows me the number of users and groups and the numbers are correct. Unfortnatelly when I try to save it I get this message.
Cannot save the LDAP source.
I have been able to setup on to a Wx2k3 server and it works fine.
Any ideas?
