    Hi

i know the article with the same title.  But a have still some questions about this issue.

    1. I have one installation with this problem and second one, LDAP synchronisation works. That i don't understand.

    2. On the installation where LDAP-sync works fine, there you can login with the domain account. On the one where just authentication and recipient validation is active, the login to the Brightmail Quarantine with the domain account failes. How does i have to configure the LDAP any user can login to the quarantine with there domain account?

    Sincerly

Thanks for looking at the KB article(s) before posting your question to the forums.  For reference, here are the two KB articles that are related to the LDAP Synchronisation and support of Windows 2008 R2 Domain Controller as the LDAP source:

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-gate.nsf/docid/2009111708023654

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-gate.nsf/docid/2008092309190054

To help with the quarantine login issue, I suggest looking at the following KB:

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-gate.nsf/docid/2008061912003154

If that does not resolve your issue, can you please provide error message(s) that you are getting in BrightmailLog.log when a user tries to login?

    Regards,

    Adnan
