Ø SEP SBE 12 activation
For an unmanaged installation of SEP SBE 12 (Client only installation), there will be no option to install the license file and therefore no node count enforcement and no end date enforcement (expiration) either.
However, according to the licensing terms and conditions, to be compliant, they will need to have a valid Maintenance contract in order to use our product.
If the customer does a Managed installation, they will need to install their license file through the Management console.
Example of:
Unmanaged environment – individual computers not being managed by the server.
Managed environment – there is a manager installed and computers are communicating/connected on the main server
