    Hi ,

    IPurchased SYMC SYSTEM RECOVERY DESKTOP FOR
    SYMC PROTECTION SUITE ENTERPRISE
    EDITION 4.0 I/O STD LIC

    and i have serial Number i tried to submit serial number 

    but i get below error:

    The serial number that was provided cannot be validated as it appears to be from an unsupported source. Verify that the serial number is correct, and then enter it again. If the problem persists then the serial number needs to be registered via the licensing portal and the associatd license will need to be manually installed.
    Error Code (2120031)     
     
     
    please help to activate license.

    i am already upgraded my server form 11.x to 12.1.5
    i purchased license Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition 4.0
    is there any difference between this products(12.1.5, Suite Enterprise Edition 4.0)?

    if so how to make my server(12.1.5) to become Suite Enterprise Edition 4.0

    Note: also i have license keys +serial number for (Suite Enterprise Edition 4.0)

    Did you receive an slf file to input into SEPM?

    You should've received an slf file from Symantec licensing team. Once you get this, you can input into the SEPM as it contains your valid license count.

    It should've come to you once you made the purchase. If it hasn't the fastest way is to contact them via phone or send an email to licensing@symantec.com

    Hi,

    already upgraded my server form 11.x to 12.1.5 as mentioned above,

    now i got new serial number form symantec for (SYMC SYSTEM RECOVERY DESKTOP FOR
    SYMC PROTECTION SUITE ENTERPRISE
    EDITION 4.0 I/O STD LIC)

    is it possible to downlaod new version and installed on my server to activated by using new serial number

    because new serial number not matching version 12.1.5

     

    Note:already sent email for licensing@symantec since yesterday  but till now i not get any thing

    i did  this steps but i faced some difficult as mentioned above
