License Activation Problem

    Hi Team,

     

    I tried out Symanect Endpoint 12.1 and got License for the Same as my trial got Expired.

     

    While trying to Activate the same i am getting the error as

    "The Serial Number or Numbers that were entered are for a different product.

    Please enter a serial number for this product Error Code (2120012)"

    I also check with my reseller he is sure that the product installed and the product purchased are the same.

    Please remove your license key in public fourms.

    Are you able to open symantec file connect URL ?

    If yes please verify your product version.

    Serial number may be associated with different product... When you renewed the license they would sent you a .slf file..u need add that file. Call licensing team or ask your reseller to send you the slf file...

    Please contact the Symantec licensing team to get this sorted out. This license is for small business not enterprise.

    I've removed your serial # to prevent misuse. Please do not post it.

    HI,

    I generated License file and activated the Product but the Validation shows the below error.

    "This License cannot be used because it applies to a different Symantec product.Make ssue that the License you selected for import or activation has been issued for use with this version of Symantec Endpont Protection.For more information contact your preferred reseller or visit the Symanec Licensing Information Centre."

    Please verify both product are same ?

    You can try to activate SBE client version.

    Are you attempting to register the SNAC license before the SNAC component is enabled/installed on the SEPM will result in a licensing error? Check the following KB for more details.

    Installing SNAC 12.1 in conjunction with an existing installation of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) 12.1
