    Hello all

    i am wanting to see if anyone has experienced this, i am using client management suite II, and for my current client licence i am at 92.x % but for my application metering solution configuration  is showing that i am at/over my limit.  my other soluations are in/at the 92.x range.

    each solution is installed/pushed before the computers are sent to users.

    how can this be, and how/where to begin to fix this?

    Most solutions (with the exception of inventory) retain their 'in-use' status, even if a machine is retired. You only gain the license back if the machine is deleted. (There are some exceptions, primarily if you have Asset installed).

    In addition, some solutions (Application Metering) will install on workstations, but by default, won't install on servers. Other issues you may see depend on what schedules you have set for agent installs.

    In any case, the numbers can vary from solution to solution.

    the ones that are retired and are older, those we will delete.
    how else should we "pugre"

    You can set the automatic purge or manually delete those that you know are gone, and for whatever reason aren't being deleted automatically.

    Another thing to keep in mind is that clients don't consume a license until they actively done a related activity. For example, you can have software delivery or patch management client installed on your computer, but until you use it on a system, it won't consume a license.

    You could  always compare the lists of clients with specific agents to see why some have the clients and some don't.
