license issue with agent version

Hi,
My colleague has bought a sql remote agent license and the license key is for backupexec 12.5
I would like to install it on a backup exec 10.1 media server but it won't accept the license key. I assume this because the license key is for a later version.
Is there anyway to obtain another license key (i.e. for v10.1)??

Yes, you would need to call into Enterprise Customer Care and request to have your license downgraded to version 10D: 800-721-3934
