  • 1.  license issue when server data collection

    Hi all,

     

    i got "Warning: The acailable licenses for server data collection, are not installed or are expired or exceed the required licenses limit.  when ran collection-evaluation-reporting job

     

    the job is completed with the error msg above.

     

    FYI, my license is still valid

     

    please help me on this issue :)

    can you post the screenshot of the Settings->Licenses view and also screenshot of the error message?

    You have consumed more CCS Server license than you have total count. You have 1 CCS Server total license count but you have two server assets scanned.

    You can either order more CCS Server licenses (this is actually number of assets you're licensed to scan) or you can delete the scan jobs you executed on your OS assets. Technically license is consumed when you perform successfull asset scan, so with only one license means you can only have one asset scanned at the time and when you want to scan another asset, you'll have to delete the resutls from the firts one. That also means you can have as many assets as you like defined in the CCS but as long as you have only 1 scanned, you're fine.

    Thanks for your help.

     

    but, the result is same with the error even if i scan only one single asset.

    and... my colleague has checked on his vm machine with the same license i used but, he does not have the error

    hmmmm what do i need to check further..?   :)

    I believe you missunderstod me, you have license only to scan one 1 asset which you have done and now the second asset will not be allowed to scan.

    You can either delete the second asset or delete the scan job of the first asset so it allows you to scan second asset.
