Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

HI everybody

I have SEP Small Bussiness Edition license but I using SEP 11.x. Is this allright ?

the SEP for small business license cannot be used on SEP 12.

If you are useing SEP 11 n you Cannot migrate from Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 11.x to Symantec Small Bussiness Edition12.0.

You would need to uninstall the Endpoint 11.0 and have a new install for the SEP Small Bussiness Edition 12.0.

 SEP 11.x licensing is basically just a "paper" license product.

No, it's against compliance. You must use Small Business Edition.

I am wonder that from where you received Enterprise Edition setup?

Ideally with provided serial number should be able to download only Small Business Edition.

Yes, you can download it from https://fileconnect.symantec.com, you would required SBS serial numbers to download the product.

I enter the serial numbers of the SEP 11.x that I bought before. I can dowload SEP 11.x for setup

After you purchased Small Business Edition you might have received email communication from Symantec.

Email may contain new serial number to download the product.

If you don't have any communication with regards to the same then please contact reseller or business partner.

Even you can contact Symantec license department.
