Hello,

For SEP 12.1 unmanaged client licensing is required. If we install unmanaged client Sonar, IRON and other new features do not work. To enable the submission of reputation data from an unmanaged client, you must install a paid license on the client. Use the following procedure to install a license on an unmanaged client.

Thanks.

Hi,

As extra info:

An unmanaged client gets his own .slf license file while you run the installation.

Search for "sep.slf" file on your unmanaged machine. You can open this file with notepad for example in order to have a clear view of license information.

You will be able to see <never expires> which is by design for unmanaged client.

When it's a managed client, you'll have an expiration date for the license corresponding to the expiration date of your .slf file imported on your SEPM Console + the 60 trial days.

Kind Regards,

A. Wesker
