/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/get_license_key

Has anyone made changes to Storage Unit config?
For SAN Media server 'On demand only' must be selected in STU properties.
Also verify in policy that SAN media server is only backing up itself and no network clients.

use nbdeployutil to get the detail analyzes master server information regarding clients and capacity, , and match them with your existing licenses.

I think I wasn't reading properly. Got stuck on SAN media server which is ONLY supported with Enterprise License.
SAN Media server is a client with media server installed using Enterprise Client license and can only backup itself.
Seems you have standalone master/media server, right?
Please check for expired demo or NFR license key.

HI Marianne,

Verify installed license keys as follows:
bpminlicense -list_keys -verbose
Please post output - just change your actual keys to something like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

Something in your environment has changed.
NBU does not decide to stop working when all is fine - permanent license keys (as per output above) and only one Server name used throughout the environment with Server license.
Have a look at the error:
Where does ajva5000 fit in the picture?
Are all policies failing with this error?
Please post output of:
nbemmcmd -listhosts -verbose
bpstulist -L
