1 license per seat.As long as you don't go over the total license count you can use that license for the 100 clients...

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

I would be glad to answer your query.

It's possible to split your existing license count like 1400 and 100 if it's in replication or sharing databaes.

Can a single license be split between multiple separate Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers?

But for complete separate environment I would suggest to contact license department directly & they can provide more shed on int.

You can split the licensing but you need to work with the licensing team to get that worked out. I would suggest calling them.

One Pc is One license. You can remove any clients that did not connect for xx days.

How to configure the number of days after which inactive clients will be deleted from the SEPM database on SEPM 12.1 RU1

    Hello,

Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 license works per computer machine basis.

A license lets you install the Symantec Endpoint Protection client on a specified number of computers. A license lets you download virus definitions, security content, and product updates from LiveUpdate.

In your case, check this Article:

How to manage license file when there are several Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers in place?

You could contact the Licensing Department via:

Export the License to another server ,now its shows another 1400 free license on new server .

Our new server is on an isolated network, its having only 100 PC on the network  .

Still our over deployed server is same as earlier .
