This issue has been solved. See solution.

I am not sure who to contact about this.  We have a customer renewed their maintenence to "SYMC ENDPOINT PROTECTION 11.0 RENEWAL BASIC- 12 MONTHS EXPRESS BAND A" (I am not sure what they had before).  The currently have a mismash of McAfee and Symantec antivirus products strune over their server and workstations (about 10 to 12 machines total).  Therefore, I decided to uninstall all antivirus products and install one thing.  What I wanted to install was Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SEPSBE) ver. 12.  However, for some reason, they bought or were sold SEP ver. 11.

I am about to do the install.  What I would like to do if possible, is to exchange the SEP ver. 11 for SEPSBE ver. 12.  Can someone point me in the right direction on how to go about that?  Can a Symantec employee contact me about this?  I have the Symantec support certificate that details what was ordered.

It depends where you

It depends where you purchased the software.

If you purchased this trhough a reseller then you would need to have the product exchange. The return policy should be 30 days from the date of purchased.

I just called Customer Care

And it worked!  I was able to convert for free from SEP 11 to SEPSBE 12.  Thanks again!
