Deployment Solution

I am working with DS 6.9 SP 3 and I have been trying to set up about 385 pre-configured computers in the console so I can just assign the imaging job to the computers and then select the computer name from the pull down in when I get into WinPE.  However the problem is when I get over 97 computers the rest just do not show up in the pull down.

All of the computers are showing up in the console. Just not when I boot into WinPE managed so I can get the pull down menu.  So the importing appreast to be working with out a problem.  I am just trying to figure out why 288 computers are not showing.

Is there a limit on how many you can do? When I boot into PXE DOS Managed all of the computers show up.

Have you tried WinPE? I dont think there is a limit for pre-defined computers.

I have tried WinPE and it is only show 109 out of the complete total, that is why I was asking.

Any chance you could pre-propulate other fields like MAC address, UUID?  that way you dont have to rely on Predefined computers as much.

Unfortunately not, the vendor this time did not provide that information.  I am going to request that for next time.
