  • 1.  Linix agent not able to communicate with SCSP server

    I installed SCSP 5.2.9 agent on a RHEL 5 machine. While the installation seemes to go fine, I am not seeing the AGENT on the SCSP console.

    Any help or troubleshooting steps that I could try? I already checked the host name resolution both ways.

    Is the client showing connected? Any error messages?

    is there any firewall between the SCSP agent and server? if yes, can you disable it?

    If you run "./sisipsconfig.sh -test" from the IPS directory, what are the results? If it mentions a certificate error, then it is most likely you used the wrong or a corrupted certificate (.ssl) file at install.

    Can you ping the server from the agent?

    Thank you for all your comments...actually the host file entry for the manager was having incorrect ip address. After correcting, this seems to work now.
