This issue has been solved. See solution.

I assume Symantec know this but cannot find any obvious way of getting in touch with the team who run this site.

  1. Open www.symantec.com
  2. Click Communities on the bottom
  3. Click Connect for Business users

You get a blank page. Maybe somebody with access to the webmaster could pass this on.

But I must admit, several times over the past few weeks the personal bookmark that I have for going direct to "Connect" has done exactly the same several times. Have previously had to resort using the KnowledgeBase search, identifying a connect "thread" & accessing connect that way. I now have two bookmarks that essentially do the same thing:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/ (this is the one that seems ok)

http://www.symantec.com/connect/ (this is the one that keeps failing intermittently & does re-direct to the above normally)

Now that you've brought the issue to light here, one of the site admins sould be able to forward the issue on to check/resolve or confirm that there were/are known issues.

Following www.Symantec.com - Communities on the bottom , the Connect for Business users link redirect fine to the Connect webpage ( https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect) .

Okay it's fine for me today as well but it was definately not working last week. One for the website developers to stick on their bug list ;-)
