Link Incidents Together With Common String
We are accepting a series or eMail incident submissions from an exterior source. The source sends a different title in each submission with a common string of data in the email body so groups of requests can be tracked together.
It has the potential to be helpful if I can find a way to use that to link the group of incidents together either as automatically linked incidents or as linked subtasks to a base incident - I don't care which.
Having them just generate like this without being automatically associated with one another is... no good.
Can I use this common string in the body of the email creating the work order to do this and if so can someone point me in the right direct to chasing this concept out?
