Hello Folks,

does some one know how patch management for Linux systems handles reboot requirements after software update installation?

For windows one can set that there will be no reboot, a scheduled reboot or a reboot after software update cycle. What will Linux systems do if a patch requires a reboot?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

"Reboot after software update cycle" is not supported on Linux. In most cases reboot is only needed for Kernel updates. If you need to reboot your machine, you can schedule/run "Power Control Restart" task in the Jobs/Tasks menu.

Thanks
Alex.
