Linux Remote Client (RALUS) 2010 - pre/post-commands on remote client

it is possible to execute pre/post-commands on the remote client.

Unfortunately i dont know how and google don't gives me an satisfying answer...

Can someone help me?

Pre- and post- commands are initiated on the BE media server.

I am not a Linux expert, but if you can do something similar so that your Windows media server can execute a command on your Linux remote machine, then you can use the Windows batch command as either a pre- or post- command.

Remember the batch file has to work before it can be used as either a pre- or post- command.

The pre/post commands are designed for windows systems only.

I would recommend that you look at using the CRON utility to schedule commands in Linux/Unix.
